How Much Does it Cost to Cremate a Dog?
As cremation continues to grow in popularity, both in North America and worldwide, more and more consumers are looking into the costs associated with cremating their pets. Unlike with humans, the cost of cremation relies, in large part, on the size of the pet to be cremated.
Smaller to average sized dogs (up to approximately 50 lbs.) can be cremated for approximately $100 to $150, depending on the type of cremation you select.*
Larger dogs (up to 120 lbs.) can be cremated for approximately $150 to $350, depending on the type of cremation you select.*
*Unlike with human cremation, there are no regulations to prohibit communal cremation with dogs. If you elect for a communal cremation, the cost savings for cremation is more substantial.
